Don't you love Lucy? She is made from a friend's sheep in Pennsylvania. The pattern was in the Interweave Press magazine, Spin Off, Summer 2006 issue "Estonian Hand Puppet". The gauge of my friend's yarn was bigger than the recommended yarn for the pattern, so I made adjustments here and there.
Who knew that finding friends would be as easy as knitting them?
